PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Arizona is poised to become the semiconductor capital of the West and possibly the United States. The Copper State currently has 200 semiconductors companies and more are being built.

On the 3 On Your Side podcast, Gary Harper and Susan Campbell talked to Tracey Latham, the 2022 SBA Small Business Person of the Year for Arizona and owner of Latham Industries—a company that relies heavily on semiconductors. Tracey tells the 3 On Your Side team why the electronics industry is so important to Arizona and what the booming semiconductor market will mean for the state’s economy and labor force.
